Bridge Za elektrárnou

“Rational simplicity in the spirit of Genius loci.”

We understand the design of a fixed bridge with sufficient clearance height, together with its adjacent landscaping, as an opportunity to connect all projects in the immediate vicinity, as well as those that pass directly through the area.

Having verified the terrain conditions for both a fixed and a movable crossing, it appears preferable, from the standpoint of long-term sustainability and minimized life-cycle costs, to design a fully integrated bridge structure without moving parts, with the utmost regard for the landscape character of Stromovka and Císařský ostrov, in the tradition and design language of Prague’s arch and vault bridges.
