Bořek is a founding member of the studio. He sees architecture as an all-embracing discipline: from the philosophy of the world we live in, down to the craftsmanship of detail. His aim is to return to the roots of architecture, to the very space that brings back emotion into building – an emotion capable of overwhelming and embracing us. In his view of architecture and craft, a work of art can emerge from any ordinary activity we engage with: whether it’s architectural design, kneading bread dough or welding a steel structure. Problems do not exist — only solutions. He supports others, keeps a positive attitude because he knows everything can always be managed. He makes friends everywhere he goes.

A founding member of the studio and a pillar of the team. His domain is system and order. With many years of experience from the offices of Miroslav Šik and Gigon Guyer, and with completed residential and office developments in Zurich, Lukáš is the ideal guide through the complex galaxy of architecture and construction. A stoic and calm family man who doesn’t panic even in crises and can lead a project safely to a high-quality result. As a mediator and an avid debater, he never avoids long discussions on all aspects of building. His drive is fueled by liquorice sticks and maté.

Bára is an architect with an exceptional range. In her work, architecture blends with visual arts, AI, virtual reality, new media and art. She is an experienced programmer who can “build” you a bridge in a few minutes and model things in Rhino you couldn’t even imagine. Bára is the one in the team who seems to know what work/life balance means. Even though she sometimes sighs behind her computer, she is a woman who will never leave you hanging. In online meetings, she’s the only one who knows how to manage audio properly.

A landscape architect with the soul of a gardener, who approaches his work with great humility and responsibility. His professional path combines architecture with many years of gardening experience, which shows in the careful consideration when placing each plant and selecting suitable materials. These practical experiences, gained more in the field than on paper, are successfully transferred into projects of both large and small scales, using a decidedly analogue approach to work. In the pub, he’s impossible to out-drink, and he prefers Czech crisps to fruit from Spain.

The studio’s newest addition. As the saying goes, still waters run deep. Although Alex is currently finishing his bachelor’s studies at CTU, he approaches every assignment—from small-scale tasks to significant contributions to ongoing studio projects—with a natural, effortless competence.
