Malostranska Square
⭐️ 3rd Prize
Awarded by the Czech Chamber of Architects
5th September 2014
In cooperation with Ing.arch. Zuzana Retterova
The competition focused on creating a conceptual architectural and urban design plan for the revitalization of Malostranské náměstí. The goal was to transform the square into a representative and residential public space that aligns with its significance as one of the major squares in Prague. The plan may include parking, but it should be proportionate to the square's character.
The objective of the competition was to assess the square's potential as a public space, taking into account traffic calming and parking allocation. Competitors were encouraged to propose alternate locations for parking in the conceptual framework in case of a significant reduction in parking.
